I'm getting closer to my 4th anniversary on DA, and in light of that I decided to come back. I deleted everything that had to do with my past, including journal entries. It was about 2 years ago when I just.. started over again. I got rid of anything having to with my art. I didn't even consider myself an artist anymore. After abandoning it for so long, it eventually called me back, though, not necessarily in the same way. Cartoons and such I'm leaving behind me.. it's not something I'm comfortable with and not something that contributed to me as a person. I've moved on. Though I still draw from time to time, what appears in my sketchbook has more of a realist side, and reflects a variety of still life. Photography has also become a small (very small) hobby of mine. Though I'm not an expert and will probably never be, I enjoy capturing something that I can save for a lifetime. I like when what I capture can be interpreted by many people in thousands of ways. Opportunities are endless with art, and thats what I missed when I left it alone. Another thing I've come to realize is that I've become a big writer, and I love making up stories and having words flow correctly when they're next to each other. I'm not very into poetry or prose, but rather free style writing. Writing, photography, drawing and art in general send me a purpose. I want to share that purpose.
